Integrative energy work in Traverse City & beyond
Reiki with Anna
Reiki is a practice of coming home to yourself. I offer in-person sessions in Traverse City, occasional pop-ups in New Orleans, and virtual healing for clients across the world
My path to Reiki
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to the unseen: the quiet patterns that shape our inner worlds, the language of dreams, the ways the soul speaks through the body. What began as curiosity became a lifelong study of how we come to know and heal ourselves.
My early path led me into the field of Psychology, where I learned the science of the mind, the delicate art of listening and working with the unconscious. Along the way, yoga opened the doorway to the body; its intelligence, its memory, its breath. These two threads wove together, forming a bridge between the clinical and the spiritual, the tangible and the mysterious.
It was through Reiki, and especially the Usui Holy Fire III lineage, that I discovered another dimension of healing, one rooted in light, presence, and trust in something far greater than the self. This practice continues to teach me what wholeness truly is: not perfection, but belonging to ourselves again.
My work now lives at the meeting point of psychology and spirit. Myth, dream, and symbol guide much of what unfolds in session, reminding us that healing isn’t linear, but sacredly cyclical; not something we chase, but something that remembers us in return.
I share this work with humility and wonder, knowing that each encounter is an invitation to return—to the quiet, to the body, to the light that has always been there.
Work with me
What unfolds in our sessions
Each session begins with arrival. A few quiet moments to settle, breathe, and set intention. From there, we move into the work together—listening, noticing, allowing what wants to unfold.
Whether in person at Poppy & Someday in Traverse City or online from your own sacred space, the environment invites ease and safety. You are free to rest, feel, or simply be.
As the session closes, there is time for gentle reflection or conversation. Space to integrate what has been stirred or softened. Each step honors your body’s pace and the wisdom it carries.
No two sessions are alike. The work follows intuition, guided by the energy and story that arrive in the moment.
How virtual sessions work
Virtual Reiki sessions are held over video and work much like in-person sessions. Before we begin, you’ll receive a link to connect online. We’ll start with a short conversation to ground and set intentions. Then I’ll invite you to relax in a quiet place—sitting or lying down—while I channel Reiki remotely. Many people feel sensations like warmth, calm, or tingling. We’ll take a few minutes at the end to discuss your experience and any insights that arose.
